Privacy policy

How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with Crestline Funding Corporation.

Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. Who we are

This policy describes how Crestline Funding Corporation ("we," "us," "our") handles personal information collected through this website, our application portals, and any related communications. We are a direct mortgage lender headquartered in Irvine, California, licensed by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System under NMLS #1978.

2. Information we collect

We collect three categories of information:

  • Information you provide. Name, contact details, employment and income information, property details, Social Security number, and other data you submit through forms, phone calls, uploads, or in person when applying for a loan or requesting a quote.
  • Automatic information. Browser type, device type, IP address, pages viewed, referrer, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies when you visit this site.
  • Third-party information. Credit reports, public records, employment and asset verifications, appraisals, title reports, and similar information obtained from authorized vendors as part of evaluating a loan request.

3. How we use it

We use the information to evaluate, process, fund, and service mortgage loans; communicate with you about your application or account; comply with applicable federal and state laws (including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and Truth in Lending Act); detect and prevent fraud; improve our website and customer experience; and, with your consent, market additional products that may be relevant to you.

4. When and with whom we share

We disclose personal information only as needed to perform the services you've asked for or as required by law. Recipients may include:

  • Our subservicers, sub-originators, processors, underwriters, appraisers, title companies, and notaries.
  • Credit reporting agencies and verification providers.
  • Investors and secondary-market purchasers of mortgage loans.
  • Regulators, law enforcement, and courts when required by valid legal process.
  • Affiliates and successor entities in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. See "Your California rights" below for more on the CCPA definition of "sale."

5. Your California rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you.
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions for loan-servicing and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold.
  • Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising any of the above rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@crestlinefunding.com or call (949) 558-2859. We will verify your identity before responding.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

6. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure performance, and — with your consent — measure marketing campaigns. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or the cookie banner shown on first visit. Disabling cookies may limit some site functionality.

7. TCPA & communication consent

By submitting a form on this site that includes your phone number and checking the related consent box, you authorize Crestline Funding Corporation to contact you by phone, text, and email — including via automated systems and prerecorded messages — about mortgage products and services, even if your number appears on a state or federal do-not-call list. Consent is not required to obtain any product or service. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out.

8. Data retention & security

We retain personal information for as long as required to service your loan, comply with regulatory recordkeeping requirements (including federal and state retention rules for mortgage lenders), and defend legal claims. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No internet transmission or electronic storage is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to alert us if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or, when required, communicated to you directly.
